RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Humanities North Dakota’s in-person classes and events, including Marilyn Hudson Brave Conversations Project, We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution, and Think&Drink, plus additional events as needed
- Respond to phone calls, e-mails, and written queries relating to programs as soon as possible
- Create surveys for in-person events
- Help recruit, train, and oversee event volunteers and discussion facilitators
- Help maintain and coordinate the programming content of the HND website in partnership with the marketing coordinator
- Attend HND events/classes and meetings as needed, including those that require travel out of town and occasionally an overnight stay
- Participate in staff meetings and be a willing member of the office team, bringing energy, ideas, and friendliness to our shared work and all HND responsibilities
- Able to handle responsibility and work independently toward established goals
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Demonstrated leadership
- Demonstrated ability to foster and contribute in a collegial work environment
- Four-year college degree in a humanities field preferred
- Effective oral, written, and public communications skills
- Willingness to attend HND activities throughout the state on a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends when necessary
- Passion for lifelong learning
$50,000 - $60,000 with generous benefits
