Duties
  • Assists headquarters staffs, units, organizations, and installations to develop efficient facility standards, authorizations, hand receipts, stationing, and space utilization plans.
  • Analyzes and justify new facility requirements by evaluating existing facilities utilization, accommodations, and configurations with and planned construction and modifications.
  • Performs, reviews, and coordinates Unit Identify Code (UIC) and personnel demographic projections and authorizations in Army Stationing and Installation Plan (ASIP) Database.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: One-year specialized experience: 1. Developing feasible and cost-effective facility accommodation/utilization/stationing plans for Facility Sustainment, Modernization, Restoration (FSRM), and Military Construction programs. 2. Coordinating and integrating facility, area, master plan decisions into US Army Facility databases (ASIP, HQIIS, GFEBS, ePRISM, and GFEBS). 3. Performs, reviews, and coordinates Unit Identify Codes (UIC) and personnel demographic projections and authorizations in Army Stationing and Installation Plan (ASIP) Database.
Some position allow education as a substitution for experience this position is based on experience alone.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

How You Will Be Evaluated
You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
