Unmatched Comp Time Policy: Hours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO.
Pay Range: $85,000-$125,000, annually

As a Professional Surveyor/Project Manager, you should have experience in land development and transportation projects; skill in municipal projects is a plus.
Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties:
- Apply field techniques related to boundary retracement, design support, and construction surveying support
- Able to manage multiple projects and staff
- Responsible for retracing and creating property boundaries for roads, pipelines, facility sites, and other rights-of-way and easements
- Collects information needed to carry out new surveys using source maps, previous survey data, photographs, computer records, recorded documents, and other relevant information
- Compiles survey computations with applicable standards to determine the adequacy of data
- Compiles information necessary to stake projects for construction, using design plans
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
- Considerable knowledge in property/ownership/documentation research, boundary law, writing legal descriptions, and preparing boundary surveys, plats, ALTA/NSPS surveys, terrestrial topographic maps, construction staking, and roadway right-of-way projects
- Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, MS Office. OPUS Projects and Microstation experience are a plus
- Working knowledge of collecting, controlling, and processing LiDAR data from both static and kinematic platforms is a plus
- FAA Part 107 Certification and experience producing topographic mapping from a UAV platform is a plus
- Fluent with Trimble equipment
- Precision and ability to perform QA/QC are critical
- Strong sense of urgency, with outstanding prioritization skills and professionalism
- Ability to learn and develop new skill sets
- New Mexico State Professional Land Surveyor license (or capable of becoming licensed in New Mexico within 1 year of employment) is required
