Duties/Responsibilities:

· Responsible for preparing standards and vats used daily testing SPIN disks.

· Conducts performance tests on start-up and hourly disk samples.

· Conducts physical/vacuum testing on pouched disk products.

· Responsible for interpreting data and making reagent adjustments as needed.

· Investigates customer complaints pertaining to SPIN products.

* Denotes essential function of the job.

*Rotating 12 Hour Shifts, 6:30 am-6:45 pm, working every other weekend.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Ability to operate manufacturing equipment with training

· Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity

· Strong attention to detail and documentation

· Ability to multitask

· Good communication, judgment, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to work legally in the United States; No visa sponsorship/support

· Minimum requirement of high school chemistry or general lab work experience. The position requires handling chemicals, using volumetric glassware, analytical balances, pH meters, and SPIN meters.

· General computer knowledge and the ability to use Microsoft Works and Excel.

· Excellent math (algebra) and problem-solving skills are required.

· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and work overtime as needed.

· Must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

· Excellent communication skills are a must. The position requires communication with SPIN production personnel and QC and R&D personnel.

· Individuals must be focused on tasks and not easily distracted.

· Must be able to transport up to 40 lbs.

Environmental Factors & Physical Demands:

· Works indoors in a temperature-controlled environment.

· Position requires handling various chemicals and occasionally working in a fume hood.

· Requires good judgment, good problem-solving, communication, and math skills, as well as good color perception.

· Position requires walking, standing, sitting, and transporting up to 40 lbs.
