We are looking for a Production Technician to fill a critical role in our organization.

Summary:
We are seeking a candidate that will proactively support production and quality control. Activities include using power and pneumatic tools as well as measuring devices and computers. The qualified candidate will be responsible for all day-to-day tasks associated with in-house production assembly capability.
Hours & Location:
Our headquarters is located in Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY). Currently, we are offering full-time, on-site work.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret CAD drawings, manuals, and blueprints for production assembly.
- Component assembly.
- Record test results, serial numbers, and all pertinent system information with great detail.
- Document and address non-conformances as well as corrective/preventive actions.
- Ability to carry and lift bulky equipment and parts.
- Responsible for accurate assembly of complex PVC piping circuits and valving.
- Follow all safety and specific protocols/procedures accurately.
- Work as a member in team environment.
- Installs components, units and printed circuit boards following specific instructions.
- Accurately wire primary and critical system components from written work instructions.
- May assist in failure investigations.
- Fabricate parts, cables, and test fixtures.
- Assist in writing/updating Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent GED.
- Minimum 1-year experience performing in a technical manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude is a must.
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, wiring procedures, and welding is helpful.
- The ability to read schematics, diagrams and blueprints is preferred but not required.
- Ability to accurately use measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and depth gauge.
- Experienced in using power/hand tools.
- Maintain production housekeeping and sign daily cleaning log.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Must show a good attitude, have a willingness to learn, and be a self-starter.
- Be well organized, able to multi-task and be attentive to detail.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, long periods of standing.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- This position will require pre-employment background check and drug testing.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $39,520 - $47,840. per year based on experience.
