Roameo combines upscale mobile travel suites designed for short-termstays and curated travel itineraries to provide a new form of experiential vacation. As part of this process, theRoameOEM business unit is specifically responsible for the design, production,assembly, and maintenance of Class B motorhomes based on the Ram ProMastercargo van.

The Production Technician is the SubjectMatter Expert in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of prefabricatedcomponents into cargo van camper conversions. Production Technicians initiallyspecialize in one of the following fields, then cross-train into additionalfields: sub-framing & insulation; cabinets & woodworking; electrical,plumbing, heating & ventilation; and upholstery, textiles, & finishes.The Production Technician reports to the Production Lead and is responsible foraccomplishing tasks in a direct-execution capacity.

JobDuties:

• Converts cargo vans to mobilesuites in parallel with other Production Technicians with guidance from theProduction Lead.
  
• Assembles, Fabricates, Installs,Mounts: sub-frame surfaces; insulation; cabinetry; appliances; upholstery;electrical harnesses; plumbing routes; heaters and cooling units; windows;floors; ceiling, wall, & door panels; aesthetic features in the vehicles.
  
• Prepares new vehicles for installation of parts and components.
  
• Cabinetry & Panels: Assembleand install flat pack parts as full cabinets.
  
• Electrical: Assemble, install, and repair 110VAC & 12VDCcomponents and wiring harnesses including inverters, shore power plugs,outlets, lights, water pumps, relays, fans, batteries, etc.
  
• Plumbing: Assemble, install, andrepair plumbing system including water pump, hot water heater, faucets, drains,fittings, water tanks, and all other components.
  
• Cross-trains (teaches and receivesinstruction) in other Technician specialties.
  
• Maintain tools, equipment, andmaterials.
  
• Maintains a safe, clean, andefficient work area.
  
• Complies with safety protocolswithin the workspace environment.
  

JobResponsibilities:

• Ability to work independently onmultiple projects.
  
• Ask detailed questions before making assumptions.
  
• Read and understand production documentation: drawings,installation instructions, etc.
  
• Ability to overcome productionobstacles while ensuring timely delivery of vehicles.
  
• Disseminates information up anddown the chain of command to clarify and streamline production objectives.
  
• Identifies and reports productionsetbacks to the Production Lead.
  

Qualifications:

• (Minimum) High School Diploma orequivalent, (Preferred) Trade School or higher Graduate or demonstrableexperience in lieu of education.
  
• Familiarity with processes in one or more of the following areas:construction, woodworking, fabrication, upholstery, machine operation,plumbing, or electrical systems.
  
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and machinery forassembly and installation of woodwork products safely and efficiently.
  
• Familiarity withAutomotive/RV/Marine systems.
  
• Possess a valid driver's license.
  

Pay

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
