Production Supervisor (Manufacturing) $85K/Yr (Direct Hire)

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

• Supervise production staff including machine operators, inspectors, shipping, quality
• Following company guidelines
• Schedule production presses, inspection, machine operation for 1st and 2nd shifts
• Develop daily work lists for each area
• Make sure screens are correct before being released into production
• Monitoring production during all phases to make sure it is being produced correctly
• Come in on one weekend day to monitor production and update work schedules
• Manage customer purchase orders that will ship daily
• Manage inventory and reorder
• Work with the office to create purchase orders for materials
• Participate in company quality initiatives and ISO certifications
• Maintain quality measurements with assistance from the quality department
• Oversee ISO audits with outside consultants/ quality engineer
• Work with departments to advise customer on ship dates for the purchase orders and items that are rush

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing company or printing company is preferred
• Ability to schedule production for different departments
• ISO 9000 certification in manufacturing company required

The hours are first shift – would be required to work for a couple of hours for one day on the weekend.

The pay is up to $75K with yearly bonuses
