We are currently hiring a Lab Hi Vision Coating / Hardcoat Supervisor
Wage: $70,000 to $80,000 per year
Shift: Monday through Friday 2nd shift preferred / negotiable (3:00pm to 11:30pm

Summary:
This position, under the direction of the Lab General Manager, is responsible for supervising the department across three shifts of production within the Anti-Reflective and Hi-Vision department.
What you'll do:

• Supervises all shifts in AR/HV to include employees and production within the department placing an emphasis on productivity and quality.
• Monitor, schedule, and maintain production activities by coordinating employees, equipment, and customer demand.
• Plans and delegates daily assignments to AR employees to ensure on-time product delivery but also consistency of process application across all shift teams.
• Works closely with employees to ensure proper training and cross-training is provided to AR employees on all processes and equipment, and ensure standard operating procedures are followed and enforce compliance as needed.
• Collaborates with the LGM in the evaluation of workflow processes, makes recommendations, and provides data to support. Will be responsible for implementation of procedural and system changes to deliver a high-quality product.
• Monitors performance of direct reports and provides prompt and objective coaching in accomplishing goals and in job performance. Writes and conducts performance reviews, rewards, and discipline employees.
• Troubleshoots breakage to determine the root cause and put measures in place to eliminate repeat inefficiency.
• Operate vacuum coating equipment as needed.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred however a combination of education and experience may be acceptable in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Experience

• 5 -7 years optical manufacturing experience preferably in Anti-Reflective and Hi-Vision
• 2 - 4 years management experience
