The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing all production material flow processes, practices and activities for their department.

- Salary range $65,000 to $85,000 depending on experience

This role's essential functions include:
- Participation in all Kaiser safety processes as they apply to daily activities
- Participation in all Kaiser quality processes to deliver 'Right-First-Time' quality
- Provide subject matter expertise with regard to plant material flow efficiency
- Manage production material flow processes and systems specifically including:
Delivery performance - Production schedule sequencing & adherence
- Material processes & practices
- Product identification & traceability
- Shop floor systems management
- Procedures, Practices & Standard Work systems
- Participate in Process Management systems and initiatives
- Participate in Daily Management processes
- Support material flow competency within and throughout the hourly and salaried workforce through training / coaching / documentation
- Support Operations, Maintenance, & Process activities
- Other items as assigned
- Comply with all safety, quality and environmental regulations
EDUCATION
BS degree with previous leadership experience - or – Combination of education and work experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
EXPERIENCE
This individual will possess:
- Intermediate level PC skills, including MS Office applications and internet
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to participate in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to manage direct reporting technical resources

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Approximately 80% of the job function is performed in the production environment requiring safety precautions. There is exposure to operating machinery and a manufacturing environment. About 20% of the job function is performed in an office setting.
