Accountabilities:
- Ensures that our products meet the company’s standards and specifications
- Complete, legible, and accurate documentation
- Must understand and follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Food Safety and Quality Standard Requirements are being maintained daily
- Must understand and comply with the company Allergen, Food Defense, and HACCP policies
- Must communicate with Supervision of any Food Safety and Equipment Concerns
- Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the area worked
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships
- Work with Supervision and maintenance to maintain equipment in good working condition
- Correct weighing and recording of any waste to be disposed of
- Report any unsafe work practices or injuries to your supervisor
- Required to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform all other work assigned duties
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required
- A college degree or courses toward 5 years of food production experience is preferred
- 3 years of food preparation experience and 1 year minimum of supervisory experience is required
- Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred
- To be able to communicate, travel the facility and be able to make critical decisions, and expedite solutions when situations arise
- Ability to train and coach
