Production Supervisor

Accountabilities:

• Ensures that our products meet the company’s standards and specifications
• Complete, legible, and accurate documentation
• Must understand and follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Food Safety and Quality Standard Requirements are being maintained daily
• Must understand and comply with the company Allergen, Food Defense, and HACCP policies
• Must communicate with Supervision of any Food Safety and Equipment Concerns
• Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the area worked
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships
• Work with Supervision and maintenance to maintain equipment in good working condition
• Correct weighing and recording of any waste to be disposed of
• Report any unsafe work practices or injuries to your supervisor
• Required to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform all other work assigned duties

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or GED is required
• A college degree or courses toward 5 years of food production experience is preferred
• 3 years of food preparation experience and 1 year minimum of supervisory experience is required
• Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred
• To be able to communicate, travel the facility and be able to make critical decisions, and expedite solutions when situations arise
• Ability to train and coach
