Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Fulfilling patient care responsibilities as requested or needed by the physician or other clinicians
· Setting up, cleaning and stocking exam rooms
· Pulling patients from waiting room
· Contributing to an efficient flow of patients through the office
· Obtaining vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure, etc.)
· Preparing/loading charts/notes/encounters for the next day
· Verifying and modifying new problems, diagnoses
· Updating and entering medical history, changes, and information to patient charts
· Entering orders, referrals, or any other request per your practitioner
· Calling patients back with results/changes of care
· Scheduling follow up appointments
· Coordinating activities in support of departmental operations
· Answering incoming patient calls
Qualifications:
· Strong communication skills
· Preparedness to act quickly in emergency situations
· Working knowledge of computer applications
· Ability to plan and schedule tasks to maintain control over own workflow
· Extremely organized
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
