The Production Supervisor is a key member of the production team that provides production support in a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) environment supporting the Mebane facility. The Production Supervisor ensures the production department operates at the highest level of safety and quality with a strong focus on continuous improvement. The Production Supervisor will have technical responsibility in manufacturing and will be hands on to ensure all production responsibilities are managed on time and effectively. This is a night shift opportunity with the operating hours being from 7:00PM - 7:00AM.

Job Responsibilities
- Manages safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale to achieve positive results and KPIs.
- Maintains a high level of visibility on the plant floor level to ensure WCM systems are integrated into the production process and daily work practices.
- Manages facility priorities, schedules, as well as all production associates’ time and attendance.
- Determines moves required to cover production needs with the manpower available per shift.
- Creates and maintains updates of standard operating procedures.
- Ensures shift associates are trained to maintain accurate records as required regarding the production schedule, quality audits, and equipment logs along with data entry for completion of daily paperwork daily.
- Reports production performance, including monitoring and reporting on internal performance as it relates to production yields.
- Assists in training employees in World Class Manufacturing pillars, problem solving tools.
- Provides employee coaching and development, with fair and consistent feedback to help resolve employee issues while following and enforcing company procedures and policies.
- Establishes standard operating procedures and ensures standard work is followed through WCM.
- Performs accident investigations and works with the EHS Manager to address any safety concerns.
- Demonstrates the ability to drive results, be proactive and make improvement suggestions.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- 2-3 years Supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to excel in a cross-cultural, global team environment.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude
The expected compensation range for this role is $62,000.00 - $80,000.00.
The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
