Job Description
- Review production orders and schedules to determine product specifications, quantities, and delivery dates to plan department operations.
- Plan production operations, establish priorities, and sequences for manufacturing products.
- Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Review production and operating reports, troubleshot operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
- Inspect machines and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Develop or revise standard operational practices, observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Compile, store, and retrieve production data.
- Supervise and coordinate workers responsible for recording work hours and processing time records, including PTO.
- Perform daily operational tasks and responsibilities of team members and leaders based on staffing conditions.
- Conduct disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Proficiency in Plex Manufacturing software, Excel Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software
