Job Title: Production Manager - Furniture Assembly Operations

With a commitment to excellence, we seek a seasoned Production Manager to oversee our furniture assembly and delivery operations and contribute to our tradition of manufacturing excellence.

Position Summary:
The Production Manager will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our furniture assembly line. This includes overseeing the production of wood and metal furniture, managing delivery schedules, handling purchasing responsibilities, and providing timely updates on order statuses to both internal managers and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the assembly line operation for wood and metal furniture products, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met.
• Assign tasks and manage schedules for production teams to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department to procure raw materials and supplies, ensuring inventory levels meet production needs.
• Develop and manage delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of products.
• Maintain open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on order status and production timelines.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in the production area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a production management role, preferably having to do with dinette or free standing furniture or in RV components
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes and materials (wood and metal).
• Knowledge of RV OEM customers in an around the Northern Indiana area.
• Ability to manage and optimize production schedules and workflows.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in purchasing and inventory management.
• Ability to liaise effectively with both managers and customers to report on order statuses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,577.00 - $115,000.00 per year
