2nd ShiftProduction Supervisor
Job Summary:
Stabilus is the world leader in design and manufacture of hydro pneumatic positioning elements, hydraulic vibration dampers, electromechanical drives and door positioners for automotive and industrial applications. This position will be at Tech Products in Miamisburg, OH. They are a leader in the manufacturing of vibration and noise control solutions.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the technical management, supervision, and control of industrial production processes. The supervisor will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output.
This is a 2nd Shift position. The schedule will be Monday - Thursday from 3:45 p.m. - 2:15 a.m.
Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Oversee the production process, including:
- Raw material processing (mill)
- Rubber Molding
- Trimming
- Material Handling
- Manage all aspects of the associates in the shop.
- Attendance and vacation
- Organize/Manage cross-training activities.
- Yearly evaluations
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are met.
- Minor machine maintenance
Required Skills and Abilities
- 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations
- 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
- Management skills, including.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Organization and efficiency
- Team building skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Computer and numerical skills
- Be confident and flexible at the same time.
- Great communication skills
Education, Training, Certifications, Experience:
- Associates Degree in Business or other equivalent degree or experience is preferred.
- 2-5 years related experience in leading and supervising in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 80 pounds.
