FASTSIGNS Everett, Lancaster & York is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team who will Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as production specialists, machine operators and assemblers, fabricators, and system operators. This position will require cross training in different areas of production, giving you the opportunity to learn certain types of machinery and expand your skill set.
Other essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure all employees are working safely and following all safety guidelines.
- Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.
- Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers.
- Assist the Production Manager in the day-to-day operations for the department.
The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, and a diligent self-starter with the ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards in quality at all times. The successful applicant should also be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits
- $26 - $28 per hour (depending on experience)

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 2 years of proven experience supervising a team in a warehouse setting is required.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demanding standards for quality and productivity.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
