We are expanding looking for a new Production Supervisor for 1st Shift. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will have ownership of the day-to-day activities and production operations.
Shift:1st Shift (Monday through Friday)
Hours: 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM
What You'll Be Doing:
- Drive a culture of continuous safety and empower your team to speak up if they see something unsafe.
- Lead a team of Machine Operators.
- Coach and develop teammates so they know how to do their jobs efficiently, safely, and have confidence that they know what they're doing.
- Monitor production and ensure scheduling needs and quality standards are met.
- Provide regular communications so the team knows what's going on and what is coming down the road.
- Coordinate training to provide continuous safety awareness and development of technical and soft skills.
- Drive continuous improvement through your ideas and encourage ideas from your Machine Operators.
- Coordinate with our Testing Lab, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure materials are available at the right time.
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrades of equipment to minimize the disruption to production.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience leading people
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
