- 2+ years of any supply chain planning experience is required, client will train, teach, and develop this person into a true demand planner

Responsibilities:
- This position will be responsible for managing and improving the existing production and demand forecast process as well as ensuring effective communication between the Demand Planning group and Supply Planners, Purchasing, and manufacturing.
- Facilitate a consensus demand management process by gathering and utilizing demand information
- Utilize demand planning exception reports to identify and fix potential issues. Perform root cause analysis and take proper actions with the demand supervisor.
- Help define process metrics as well as develop detailed process flow diagrams, tasks and supporting documentation.
- Manage and maintain forecasting system master data parameters.
- Utilize Demantra, SAP and MS Excel to resolve systematic issues with the forecasting process.
- Hold weekly review with assigned production sites to discuss production schedules and raw material concerns
- Participate in monthly calls with production plants, responsible for reviewing attainment to plan KPI for molding lines
Requirements:
- BA or BS required, preferably in Supply Chain, Economics, Operations Management, Computer Science, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or similar
- MBA, Masters or APICS certifications are a preferred
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, Demand Planning, Mater Scheduling, Supply Chain Analysis, or related supply chain experience is required
- Must have manufacturing experience, ideally foods, consumer products, beverages, chemicals, or related industries
- Must have experience with ERP system. SAP, NetSuite, Oracle are a plus
- Intermediate experience with MS Excel is required – pivot-tables, vlook-ups, and related skills are required
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail orientated, self-directed, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
