Production Operator / Compounder

Pharmaceutical manufacturer is looking for a qualified 2nd Shift permanent / direct Production Operator / Compounder to handle the following duties:
- Operation and cleaning of compounding vessels, rooms, storage vessels, homogenizers and other mixing equipment including pre-weigh containers and utensils.
- Operate equipment, scales and balances and perform calculations.
- Accurately weigh ingredients and finished products.
- Perform all blending and mixing as required by batch information.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Disassemble, clean and assemble mechanical equipment, pumps/pipes/hoses, used in processing.
- Complete all batch records as required by making appropriate entries in Batch Records, log books.
- Perform all in-process-control checks, take QC samples, PH readings and water system readings.
- Comply with all company safety, cGMP and environmental regulations.
- Perform all SAP entries and scanning as needed to perform daily job functions.
- Perform daily duties and following batch records and cleaning SOP including all documentation without or with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing or related field
- Basic mathematics, reading, writing, and verbal skills
- Excellent team player
- Ability to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, full face/half mask respirator, latex gloves, Tyvek suit and other safety equipment as needed
- Basic use of tools and equipment
- Ability to standing majority of day
- Ability to lift or move more than 50 pounds
