Opportunities available on 1st or 2nd shift
Responsibilities:
- Execute manufacturing operations for the production of oral solid dosage pharmaceutical products, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
- Operate and monitor equipment involved in the compression, encapsulation, or fluid bed drying processes, ensuring efficiency and product integrity.
- Follow batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines meticulously to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Perform in-process quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Ability to assemble, breakdown and clean equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing areas, including equipment and workspaces, to uphold a clean and safe working environment.
- Document manufacturing activities accurately and comprehensively in batch records and other required documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Manufacturing Engineering, to resolve issues and optimize production processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancing operational efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing oral solid dosage pharmaceutical products.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting equipment used in compression, encapsulation, or fluid bed drying processes.
- Strong understanding of GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and batch records precisely.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to work on either 1st or 2nd shift as required by business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
