Job Requirements:
- A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Mechanical skills (Use of hand tools.)
- Ability to read & understand basic work instructions.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
- Work overtime as required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
- Follow directions from the lead operator.
- Load and set up band-wire spools in the automated presses.
- Run SN presses and understand its operation.
- Perform checks and inspections to ensure the product is up to standards.
- Perform basic adjustments to the equipment to keep the lines moving (i.e. turn on the machine, clear jammed staples, reset sensors, etc.)
- Help lead operator in troubleshooting of equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized area.
- Reports accurate production numbers (report number of packs at the end of the shift.)
- Advises lead operator of any situation that interrupts or prevent production from achieving maximum efficiency.
