Seeking a leader that has experience in the warehouse manufacturing environment. Looking for a team player that can work in a family-oriented environment that will look at ways to streamline processes and create more efficient ways in production. This company is in the pet industry and is located near St. Rose & Seven Hills area.

- Lead a team of 2-5 production staff, providing clear instructions, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of orders.
- Monitor production workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and material usage.
- Formula compounding and production of goods.
Quality Control:
- Establish and implement rigorous quality control procedures throughout the production process.
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory planning and purchasing to ensure timely access to necessary materials.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Implement new technologies and methods to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the production team.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the production facility.
- Conduct regular safety training for production staff.
- Investigate and report all safety incidents promptly.
Other Duties:
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership skills and experience motivating and leading a team.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, with a willingness to learn new software.
- QuickBooks experience.
Starting Hourly Rate: $22-$25/Hour
Benefits: Medical, dental and vision. 10 days of personal time off per year.
