Our dedicated team is the backbone of our success, and we are currently seeking a Production Manager to oversee our dynamic production operations.
Job Overview:
The Production Manager plays a critical role in our mission to deliver exceptional service. This position is responsible for overseeing all subcontractor crews involved in siding and roofing installations. Additionally, the Production Manager will manage our team of Production Coordinators, who assist with job site material logistics and pickups. The ideal candidate will excel in scheduling, coordination, and project management, ensuring that all jobs are executed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of production for siding and roofing installation projects.
- Schedule and coordinate approximately 1500 jobs annually, adjusting project timelines as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Manage relationships with subcontractor crews, ensuring compliance with company standards and project specifications.
- Direct and support Production Coordinators with logistics related to materials and pickups for job sites.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly to minimize impact on schedule and budget.
- Creating and maintaining all invoices for projects for subcontractors and materials.
- Ensure quality control measures are implemented and maintained across all projects.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer service, to ensure smooth project initiation and completion.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency and improve overall project execution.
- Conduct regular meetings with the production team and subcontractors to review performance, discuss challenges, and provide guidance.
- Verify subcontractor insurances (work comp and general liability)
Qualifications:
- Required: Experience in a production management role, preferably in the construction, siding, or roofing industries.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Nice to have: Bilingual (Spanish)
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with experience managing teams and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- A commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
