SalaryJob Description:
1. Performs routine repair and maintenance work, proactive inspections and preventive maintenance work on, electrical equipment, forklifts & pallet jacks, dock/warehouse equipment, all production equipment and systems, and plumbing. Installation and design of equipment used in production.
2. Duties are frequently repetitive or involved providing additional physical efforts, such as lifting and moving objects and materials, bending pipe, pulling electrical wires, changing lamps and ballast’s, performs repairs on dock equipment, doors, replacing bearings, gears, drive motors, etc.
3. Makes minor cosmetic construction repairs to floors, ceilings, and walls.
4. Repairs and maintains physical equipment, structures, performing, cleaning, painting and repairs as required.
5. Uses hand tools, portable power tools, gas & electric welders and trade tools.
6. Supports, follows and administers all work rules established in the Fruit of the Earth Employee Handbook.
7. Assists with other departments as needed.
8. Remains professionally attired and maintains personal grooming to reflect attention to good personal hygiene practices.
9. Achieves and maintains all goals and work standards outlined in current review period.
10. Supports other maintenance staff and oversees contractor activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
