Production Maintenance Mechanic

Agrana Fruit US, Inc. currently has an immediate full-time opening for a Maintenance Mechanic at the Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

We have an opening on the 1st shift.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Electrical

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery using electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of motor components and controls, both 3-phase and low voltage.
• Knowledge of installation of conduit and related fittings.
• Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and related components preferred.

Pneumatics

• Ability to troubleshoot systems as needed.
• Repair and rebuild pneumatic components.

Welding

• Practical maintenance welding ability for stainless and non-stainless using SMAW (stick), TIG preferred, and gas.

General

• Ability to maintain plant facility, grounds, structure and related equipment.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment

Plumbing/Pipe Fitting

• Ability to install or repair copper or steel pipe and related fittings.

Refrigeration

• Basic knowledge of refrigeration and related equipment.

Other

• Maintain proper levels of housekeeping.
• Follow all SAFETY rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Must meet company drug screen and background check requirement.
