CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Client seeks to hire an experienced and highly motivated Production Engineer to support and optimize the operational effectiveness of Client Crude Distillation Unit. This individual will be responsible for recommending and implementing process improvement initiatives, tracking and reporting performance metrics, and evaluating growth opportunities relating to projects.

Provide day-to-day technical support to Operations.

Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.

Maximize productivity by identifying process improvements and cost reduction ideas.

Develop and monitor unit performance metrics.

Record and track lost opportunity based on the planned run rates.

Assist with project development and execution.

Evaluate the effectiveness of current operational practices and recommend improvements.

Implement key efficiency initiatives.

Support PSM program.

Act as liaison between the Operations and Technical departments.

5-7 years of experience in refineries and/or manufacturing facilities.

Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint. etc.).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively coordinate on a cross-functional and cross-organizational basis.

Excellent team player with a can-do, approachable demeanor.

Familiarity with AutoCAD software, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint. etc.).

Bachelor’s degree in engineering; preferably Chemical Engineering.
