Core Function
The Production Coordinator performs various standard production tasks including but not limited to acting as the back-up/support Production Lead in their absence, receiving inspection, quality support, and management of shift data. We are currently looking for a Production Coordinator on a temp to perm basis for our first shift from 7:00am - 3:30pm Mon - Fri.
Essential Functions
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Production Coordinator will facilitate various processes on the assigned shift.
Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Quality System.
Enters shift data into the appropriate systems.
Performs labor reconciliation for all work orders in a given day.§ May perform routine molding and or quality machine start-up
Use basic problem-solving skills to ensure stable operation of the work cell.
Report issues or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Shift Supervisor and or appropriate party.
Work closely with support staff such as Technicians, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Supervisor, Materials/Warehouse to resolve issues.
Observe, maintain, coordinate and complete standard work.
Complete lot acceptance activities for assigned assembly cell.
Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Production Supervisor.
Sustain and drive lean manufacturing and 5S activities.
Participate as an active member of the production assembly team and assembles products.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience Requirements
This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English is required. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Skills
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Physical Requirements
Medium Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as; preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and or operation or machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distance close to the eyes.
Work Conditions
The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change. Hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday..
