Job Description
The Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and successful movement of open orders throughout the entire production process from sale to delivery. The goal of this position is to obtain and provide statuses of all current open orders, utilize problem-solving in an effort to reduce roadblocks, generate required documents from the ERP system, and update information in the ERP software.
The Production Coordinator will interact internally with accounting, sales, and warehouse teams daily to keep orders moving along and communicate constantly with other departments to review open orders. Keep management and the sales team updated on current orders daily.
The Production Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Operations.

- Manage inventory, open order production, logistics, shipping, & quality and maintain a real-time status system in an effort to provide current updates to all teams.
- Work with the sales team, Director of Operations, and the Warehouse & Facilities team to update management and the sales team with statuses on each open order.
- Coordinate weekly meetings with management and the sales team with updates on all open orders.
- Manage open orders by obtaining information from repair shops and vendors with details such as expected lead times, and shipping dates while also tactfully pushing for the completion of objectives.
- Communicate with internal and external contacts via phone, email, and various software systems.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of management’s vision and work with a high level of independence to achieve this vision within their respective roles and responsibilities.
- Follow best practices and protocols to achieve efficient movement and execution or responsibilities.
- Utilize ERP systems for all inventory tracking, shipping, receiving, creation of documents, and internal communication
- Keep up-to-date on the latest quality system requirements, i.e. ASA-100 Accreditation requirements
- Communicate with logistics companies for shipping and receiving details as needed.
- Send weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to management and relevant teams.
- Provide support to the sales team in procurement, logistics and customer service
- Process orders and submit payment requests to the accounting department
- Work with the quality department to ensure standards are being met, and paperwork and processes are in accordance with the current quality system in place.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- AA or bachelor's degree is preferred - but your experience and outlook are what counts.
- 3 years in an office or business professional environment.
- Experience with Avsight or Quantum ERP systems preferred.
- Inventory management preferred.
- 2-5+ years’ experience in aviation preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
