Stellant Systems currently has an opportunity for an experienced Production Control Manager at our Torrance, California location. In this position, you will be responsible for providing an interface between customers and in-house personnel. This involves scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the expedient flow of parts through the manufacturing processes to satisfy the customers' delivery requirements.

ResponsibilitiesManages the day-to-day tactical Production Control planning, scheduling, ensuring availability and flow of materials, parts and assemblies, work order management, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization.
Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. Being a Production Control Manager, you will be responsible for establishing monitoring tools and processes to identify and plan for problems with waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations. Recommends improvements to production technology and processes. Additionally, Production Control Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices. Material Planners and floor planners (dedicated to OneSat) would report directly to this OneSat dedicated manager. Role would cover Vac Assy, Package & Test, EPC and MPM areas for OneSat.
Qualifications- BS Degree in Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field. Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills. Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
- You'll need at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing resource planning and scheduling.
- Computer proficiency is required, with advanced knowledge of ERP systems, Infor LN MRP Planning Environment and Microsoft Excel needed.
- Must be able to develop and execute an MRP plan using business system and desktop applications.
- Knowledge of electronic (hi-reliability) parts and machined parts requirements and associated processes is helpful.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to develop creative solutions to problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills are needed to effectively deal with internal and external customers and suppliers.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- APICS CPIM certification or other education relevant to this field is desirable. Prior experience in aerospace or industrial equipment manufacturing
