The Production Associate at Van Beek Nutrition will work as a production laborer, and to aid in the manufacturing and delivery or high quality, consistent mineral mixes.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Manufacture Mineral Mixes
- Manufacture and bag mineral mixes in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner according to the parameters set by the manager.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Print tags, using the WEM and FMS systems as needed.
- Other Duties
- This position shall support its manager and shall ensure that all department members are cross trained on the position responsibilities.

Education, Reasoning Ability & Experience:
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Communication and Language Skills:
Must have a willingness to take direction and maintain professionalism in the way one communicates, refraining from foul language and inappropriate language.
Other Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to operate a forklift, or be willing to be trained to operate a forklift
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
- Interpersonal and organizational skills
- Be a team player
- A CDL is a plus, but not required
Travel Requirements:
This position does not require overnight travel.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Required to sit and use a computer, handle paperwork, also to stand and use hands and fingers to grasp and hold objects, tools and/or controls, likewise reach with arms and hands. The employee is also, at times, exposed to fumes and/or airborne particulates.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
