Production Assembler

Trulife is hiring Assemblers to join our team! We are a manufacturing company that specializes in producing lower limb prosthetics and orthotic medical devices that improve the quality of life for amputees, adults, and children. Responsibilities:

• Work from drawings or specifications. Inspects and tests completed units.
• Perform all tasks conducted by the team and rotate through one or all tasks in the production process within individual departments.
• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
• Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
• Assemble parts to build more complex units.
• Debur and smooth edges to complete a quality product.
• Package finished products.
• Keep records of production quantities and time.
• Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts.
• Perform quality checks on products and parts.
• Sweep and otherwise clean work areas.
• Maintain good safety habits and practices.
• Uses power drivers, drills, cutter, torque wrenches, and other power tools.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

• Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math, including understanding fractions.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to come to work regularly.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Enthusiasm and desire to do a good job.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail and quality is essential.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Must be able to understand and comply with Safety Practices.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

This position is currently part of a collective bargaining unit certified by the National Labor Relations Board.
