Production/Cab Assembly Positions(Starting at $24.90/hour)
Looking for people in search of a great opportunity to develop their mechanical aptitude by assembling various models of heavy-duty Kenworth trucks. Employees Learn how to use a wide variety of tools while performing truck assembly activities in one of the facility’s state-of-the-art chassis or cab assembly departments. On-the-job training is provided by experienced employees working within high performing teams having a shared responsibility for safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. Position requires basic organizational and problem-solving skills, and experience with basic power and hand tools commonly used for everyday home or auto maintenance tasks.
Total Compensation Package Offered:
- Automatic Wage Progression based on service time provided attendance/performance are within good standing

Specific Duties to include:
- Ability to work on a moving assembly line
- Learn how to perform tasks through verbal explanation and hands-on experience
- Use basic electric and pneumatic tools
- Recognize obvious irregularities in fit, form and function of components
- Follow work instructions, order of operation, and procedures
- Follow safety procedures/policies
- Work well within a team environment
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be able to speak and understand the English Language.
- Prior experience using hand and pneumatic/vibratory tools helpful but not required.
- Ability to recognize number/letter identification when working with parts and/or work instructions.
- Must be able to meet physical requirements with or without an accommodation to include: Lift, Carry, Push, Pull 50 pounds or more, Stand & Walk for 8 hours per day, consistently work in awkward positions such as bending, squatting, working from ladders, use vibratory tools, etc.
