- Collaborate closely with art directors, designers and developers
- Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing
- Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
- Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners
- Create PDFs for print and business review and conduct press checks
- Prepare images for online and mobile applications
- Organize and properly archive digital assets and images.
- Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and the outside vendors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years’ experience with Production Design / Production Art for print & digital projects with InDesign and Photoshop. This includes experience preflighting and releasing final artwork.
- Experience in Figma modifying creatives, relinking components, and creating exports.
- Experience using Photoshop for basic mockups, image compositing and background extensions. Experienced at creating Batch Actions in Photoshop. More Photoshop experience is always welcome.
- Experience using Illustrator to create vector art and logos.
- A working understanding of social media platforms and specs. Experience producing and exporting materials for these platforms a plus.
- Experience using Excel to organize data (track projects in process, due dates, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and file management skills.
- Very comfortable working in Mac OS X. Experience using Automator for OS X a plus.
- Able to multitask and maintain deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in person and via email. The ability to communicate problems and roadblocks in a clear and calm manner.
- Experience providing one-on-one production support to art directors and designers.
- Comfortable with workflows that change and develop overtime.
