• Orange Circle Studio – A recognized name in the calendar space, our prolific and diverse line of planners and calendars has a loyal consumer base and is found in major retailers throughout the country.
• Studio Oh! –- A boutique publisher of artistically designed gift and stationery products intended for today’s consumer. The company has been recognized for its collaborations with exceptionally talented, up-and-coming illustrators and use of eco-friendly materials. • Ju-Ju-Be – For almost two decades, Ju-Ju-Be’s premium diaper bags have been instrumental in improving the lives of busy parents. Packed with loads of features, these stylish yet highly functional bags are designed to outlast, outwear, and outsay the others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and coordinate calendar and planner grids for a large number of products using Adobe Indesign and Illustrator.
• Route and edit calendar and planner grids, working closely with editorial. Preflight and upload files to factories.
• Layout company catalogs.
• Participate in internal meetings to assure the smooth process of the Dated program and adhere to all deadlines.

General Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Dated art director to create overall collections.
• Create production files before they are uploaded.
• Act as liaison with off-site freelancers and employees.
• Review and approve factory PDFs, digital proofs, pre-production samples, and advances.
• Follow design department procedures, protocols, standards, and SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Must be proficient in Adobe Indesign and has extensive experience with the use of Style Sheets, Master Template, and multi-page layout.
• Knowledgeable in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat and must be able to work on these programs in a proficient manner.
• Has good working knowledge on basic offset printing principles and has some experience on how to prepare press-ready files.
• Has a keen sense of typography and good design eye to be able to produce a refined and upmarket quality of work.
• Must be able to take direction and work in collaboration with other team members with the same goal of producing top-notch work.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines. Can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented type of working environment.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design preferred
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.

Pay: The compensation range for this role is $25-$28 per hour. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. This is a non-exempt position.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
