Responsibilities Work with key stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately captured and prioritized to ensure successful delivery & adoption Maintains a sprint-ready product backlog, balancing new features, defects, and quick enhancements and negotiates with Product Manager for prioritization Empowered to make product decisions and actively advises delivery teams Ensures that development teams have two sprints of refined backlog that meets the team's Definition of Done (DoD) Translates product vision and discovered requirements into actionable user stories. Primary point of contact for questions from the team, clarifying features & user stories and answering questions for delivery teams; become a subject matter expert on assigned product functions Collaborates closely with Technical, Testing and Design teams to define exceptional experiences and scalable solutions Utilize project tracking tools to maintain and update project information (e.g. Jira and Aha!).
Ensures clear and comprehensive product documentation, inclusive of functional specifications Where appropriate, works closely with off-shore BAs and assist with the elaboration of epics into user stories Act as a key stakeholder in release planning and support end user release management and training Keeps abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices Perform other duties, assignments, and/or special projects as time or circumstances necessitate Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar relevant field preferred, or equivalent work experience and/or training Previous experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner or similar role in product management Hands-on experience and knowledge of managing all stages of the product life cycle within an Agile framework Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
