Responsibilities :
- Product Ownership: Serve as the firm's central resource responsible for the successful upkeep of CRM and Pipeline data and analysis.The role will be a liaison between business and IT sitting under the business COO. It will be functionally responsible for delivery and driving the platform forward. More specifically,
- Manage the entire instance across business needs, interface with end users and technology team, prioritize and design product updates, enhance tool alongside the implementation of release updates
- Manage team and relevant sprints/staffing related to tool and reporting management
- Technology & Process: Leverage experience in optimizing tech tools to support the firm's software instance across multiple asset classes:
- Partner with all investment deal teams in regular dialogueto understand/develop ideal CRM priorities and enhancements (processes, technology, organization), driving strategy and roadmap to enable business growth
- Lead the delivery of the tool strategy in collaboration with Technology - balancing the need for short-term improvements and longer-term value
- Focused on driving connectivity of data within the tool and across broader ACS technology platform
- Team Management
- Manage affiliated team including overall priorities, sprints, and responsibilities
- Governance: Manage steering committee, process overviews, and updates on how the CRM tool should be used to ensure consistency across and within teams
- Uphold data standards within the tool and in conjunction with Apollo / Industry standards
- Represent stakeholder priorities and take ownership in the successful implementation of changes
- Primary goals include: (1) system architecture; (2) processes affiliated with proposed changes; and (3) clean data for the support of business and firmwide needs
- Identify and deliver key business initiatives that increase efficiency and mitigate business risk in line with best practices. Examples include:
- Drive efficiency in pipeline and CRM management: Identify and implement solutions for root causes of issues
- Business Management: Liaise with key business stakeholders and external vendor services to manage and execute business management priorities
- Lead business management activity - e.g., HR processes
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience at an investment bank, consulting firm, asset manager, or in a similar role
- Min 3-5 years in a COO / Business or Technology Management capacity
- Strong knowledge of investments and financial concepts including deal metrics, products, and processes
- Successful track record of leading technology initiatives within a Front Office environment
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships with Front Office senior management, Investment Professionals, COOs, and other functions (Technology, Risk, Finance, Compliance, etc.)
- Strong ability to partner and manage the holistic relationship with an external vendor
- Exemplary interpersonal skills necessary to handle sensitive information and confidential situations
- Ability to thrive in a high intensity faced paced environment, independently and in groups
- Deadline driven, has strong organizational skills, and able to multi-task
- Be able to function in and manage multidisciplinary teams, must possess excellent documentation, presentation, training, and computer skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative attitude is a must
