SafeInsight is redefining the education research landscape by making powerful research accessible for a wide range of scientists in order to improve learning outcomes, advance education for the public good, while prioritizing student privacy. With a strong product vision, user-centric approach, and stable funding, SafeInsight is poised to make a significant impact. This project is grant-funded, with the position's continuity dependent on ongoing grant support.

We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager III to take responsibility for the development of key components and complex feature sets that are part of the SafeInsight research infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, user experience, and other product teams, as well as engagement with researchers, education interested parties, and experts in DEI, FEAT, and privacy. The ability to work independently, engage with diverse interested parties, and proactively take initiatives is crucial for this position.

The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years experience bringing a complex product to fruition, balancing business needs, mission achievement, and creation of impactful customer value. They will be adept at clearly communicating product goals and measures of success, developing a roadmap that reflects and prioritizes impactful user-centered goals, and managing the delivery of those goals, while maintaining a healthy working environment. They will have extensive experience working with engineering teams and user experience, and have experience gathering and using user research and data analytics to inform product development. The ideal candidate will value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and have experience translating that value into practical embodiment of those principles in team culture and product design and implementation.

Under the guidance of an experienced director, you will contribute to creating a national-scale education research platform. If you're passionate about making a difference and have a solid background in product development, we invite you to apply.
