Manager, Global Function Commissioning & Startup Roles, and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Manager, Global Function Commissioning & Startup within our department name team located at our work location. This position requires _20__% domestic / global travel.
This role has primary accountability for establishing consistent, world-class commissioning and startup processes and tools, and ensuring consistent CSU management throughout the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of capital projects and job sites. The role will work closely with the regional Project Delivery organization and CSU leaders to ensure the consistent, disciplined application and use of these processes, tools and standards globally by presenting, training, monitoring, enforcing and auditing implementation in all projects worldwide.
  • The Global Function CSU reports directly to the Executive Director, Global Project Management and Delivery.
  • Leads the Global CSU function, providing collaborative, functional leadership with regional CSU leaders.
  • Responsible to develop, deploy and maintain the Global CSU program for delivering the Commissioning and Startup objectives for projects in accordance with the Air Products requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and manage standard CSU plan templates.
  • Collaborate with the other GLOBAL FUNCTIONs and the regional CSU leaders to ensure conformance and global standards are maintained and are aligned with the overarching project CSU plan.
  • Responsibility, authority, and interpersonal freedom to audit/assess projects and regions against globally established CSU processes.
  • Contribute to the establishment of management processes and reporting methods used to track Key Performance Indicators and CSU Metrics, aligned with business improvement goals. Participates in driving portfolio priorities across critical initiatives across technical and business units.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's objectives, requirements, priorities, policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations, and guidelines provided by the company from time to time.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety in line with AP safety culture and expectations.
  • Domestic and International travel to support regions and projects
  • The position requires extensive travel, including international travel.

Required Skills / Abilities:
  • Minimum of 10 years of CSU-related experience, with experience leading a team of CSU resources in related equipment manufacturing and construction industry.
  • Strong drive to brand-new DT solutions and implementation of those into the CSU processes.
  • Experience with large-scale capital projects by planning and implementing CSU activities.
  • Has demonstrated strong CSU competence. Competence with preservation processes also preferred.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops to lead the project team through the development of project CSU procedures and programs.
  • Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment, both national and international
  • Demonstrated interpersonal/team building skills.
  • Work effectively with peers in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Strong oral communication skills, strong digital literacy
  • Training experience
  • Dedication to safety

Education and Licensing Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of proven experience
  • Strong Leadership and communication skills
  • Role Model during planning and execution
  • Planning/organization skills
  • Ability to travel globally.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Good Driving Record
