We're looking for a Product Manager to join us at Ripple Effect, and support our global development teams as we build a new Battlefield experience. You will take an important role in defining the strategy for the new project, planning the world-class tactics for implementing the strategy, and lead teams into the Live Service journey.
You will define and guide the vision for the player experience, and help maintain the balance between compelling business performance and maintaining a positive, fair, and fun player community.
You will report to our Director, Product Management. We are considering on-site and hybrid working options, and welcome full-time remote candidates who are within the US or Canada to apply.
Responsibilities
- Partner with key leads across Product, Creative, Analytics, Tech, Brand, and more, to develop well-reasoned and data-informed strategy that drives acquisition, engagement, monetization, and community for the Battlefield franchise.
- Collaborate with teammates across all levels, across all departments, to implement and execute tactics at a world-class level that drive acquisition, engagement, monetization, and community.
- Lead teams in identifying key data input, as well as setting the pace for optimal insight output. Evangelize the importance of collecting and utilizing in- and out-of-game insights in everything we do, and help teammates incorporate data into their work.
- Define strategy for and help support Events and come up with new ideas for how to deliver future Events.
- Drive A/B experimentation to increase gameplay and commerce.
- Contribute toward economy design, testing and tuning.
- Embody the "player" view internally, driving a fan-first viewpoint throughout the team; ensure that the player's voice helps drive the direction of the franchise.
- Partner with marketing, creative, and franchise teams to promote titles both in-game and externally to improve growth and ROI.
- Understand how different games operate their live services to help inform some of our strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management from gaming (console, PC, or mobile); entertainment; technology; marketing, or consumer products.
- Experience in feature or system design, virtual economy management, and live operations.
- Experience in driving engagement and retention in live service games.
- Familiarity with behavioral economic concepts, data analysis, UX/UI, game systems design, and A/B testing.
- Avid gamer.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
$114,200 - $166,200 USD Annually
New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
$99,900 - $166,200 USD Annually
Jersey City, NJ :
$131,600 - $168,400 USD Annually
Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
$99,900 - $141,800 USD Annually
Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
$99,900 - $168,400 USD Annually
British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
$77,600 - $130,500 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
