About the Role
Stylitics is looking for a Product Designer to help us create the next generation of retail experiences across the sites, apps, and marketing channels of our clients. We have the awesome privilege of helping the best retailers and brands in the world roll out our digital experiences that assist and inspire the shopper. Your role will be to upgrade the interface and experience of our products, used by tens of millions of shoppers each month.
What You Will Do
- Analyze data insights to understand users' needs, inform recommendations, and validate solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams across every stage of product development
- Continuously champion user-centered innovation and "next-level" experiences
- Translate concepts and requirements into clear, cohesive user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes and other design assets for a wide range of devices
- Incorporate principles, standards and best practices for usability, aesthetics, and accessibility into your work
- Conduct basic user research, including usability testing, and apply findings
- Deliver design work, including discovery artifacts, sketches, prototypes, wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity comps
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Human-Computer Interaction (UX Design), or Graphic Design from an accredited college or university or related practical experience
- 1-2 years of experience as a Product or UX/UI designer, ideally working on consumer-facing retail experience design
- Basic proficiency in Figma, including component management and prototyping
- Strong grasp of digital design principles and practices
- Demonstration of key soft skills: creativity, communication and collaboration
- Understanding of the product management lifecycle and the role of product design across phases
- Ability to translate product requirements into recommendations and designs, including the application of design systems
- Ability to create design artifacts up to high-fidelity final comps
- Experience preparing work for handoff to engineering partners, including documented design specifications
- Confidence in presenting your work, articulating rationale, and working through constructive feedback
- A portfolio demonstrating the above
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Prior experience designing for omnichannel ecommerce retail customers
- Experience with basic usability testing: planning, conducting studies, and analyzing results
Salary
When we find the right person, we try to put our best foot forward with an offer that excites you and is fair on our end. We consider the skills and experience you bring, what similar jobs pay, and make sure there's equal pay for equal work among those you'll be working with. The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 USD annually. The final offer also takes into account other factors of a total compensation package, including what is market-based on the region. Please note that the range is being shared in good faith and is subject to modification based on changing market and business conditions.
