SalaryShawnda Products, Inc, seeks a a highly motivated and talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves the creation of designs and quotes for ASME code filter vessels, coupled with active involvement in project management activities. Extensive training will be provided to ensure your success in this role. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with various departments including Sales, Welding Operations, our Chief Engineer, and fellow engineering colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop designs and quotes for ASME code filter vessels in accordance with project specifications.
- Engage in project management activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and customer requirements.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and product innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant engineering experience or internship is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
