Interns will be assigned to a department based on the candidate's background, skill set and interests. Interns that demonstrate outstanding qualities may be invited back for a return internship the following summer or may be considered for full-time positions.

Internship Format
The format for this internship will be in-person at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Depending on the location of the assignment, interns may qualify for travel assistance, a housing allowance or corporate housing.
Department Details
The Brand Identity Graphics Intern will work in the Product Design Office studios at Auburn Hills, Michigan. They will interface with various levels of management and cross-functional team members while participating in all studio related activities and assignments. Such activities include but are not limited to developing concepts and presenting Type/Font presentations, as it pertains to automotive Badging and brand identity. The intern will assist the team by researching trends and help coordinate property builds and other business-related studies. Assistance is provided by on-site Designers and program specialists who will oversee the Intern’s daily activities.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Working toward a degree in Graphic Design and/or Visual Communications.
- Able to work 40 hours per week during the internship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of sophomore year or higher at an accredited university by the Summer of 2024
- GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
- Candidates must submit a current portfolio, saved as a PDF, representing work from freshman year to the present (specifically highlighting automotive design if applicable)
- Strong interest in automotive industry
- Strong interest in Logo Design, Typography, Brand Identity.
- Strong understanding of Brand Identity
- Typography – Designing Custom Characters
- Brand Mark Logo Development and Design
- Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator (vector art) & Photoshop
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, (particularly, Illustrator in designing vectored art) PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work both individually and as a team member in a creative and diverse environment.
- Exhibit strong leadership and presentation skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Computer proficient
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must exhibit strong leadership characteristics
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Ability to travel within the NAFTA region (potential)

- This position requires a portfolio in a PDF format be submitted with your application

- Your most current work should be presented first and displayed in descending order of most current to oldest
- When appropriate, provide a brief description of your contributions to work that is submitted for review. (i.e.: if a full model is presented, provide explanation to explain you were responsible for the full model or that your involvement was limited to specific areas of the model
Although depictions of your professional work are needed, you're also welcome to submit work you've accomplished on a personal basis however; the two should be separated and kept in separate sections of the portfolio
