Procurement Manager - It/Bpo

Position Summary
EPC is looking for a dynamic and energetic procurement professional to join our North American Indirect Procurement team. Our goal is to maximize return on company investments through strong business partnership and strong procurement acumen. This role will specifically lead IT category and Business Processes Outsourcing across the following areas (Financial Services, Office Based Contingent Labor and Office Management). Candidate may be required to provide support/augment other corporate services related sourcing projects if needed. This position will have a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote days.
Specific Accountabilities

• Responsible for development, stakeholder buy-in, and execution of Global/North America indirect sourcing strategies to deliver cost efficiencies, improving quality/service, and driving innovation across category spend; Specifically with a good understanding and experience in purchasing for Information Technology (IT) Services, IT network and infrastructure, HR, Finance and other shared corporate services.
• Execute both strategic and tactical responsibilities across multiple stakeholder groups with agile approach (Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Issue Resolution, Risk Management, Innovation, etc)
• Provide excellent category management utilizing 7-step (or other) sourcing processes
• Conduct regular supplier meetings and QBR's with the business
• Manage and lead RFP, RFI's and other sourcing events; development of spec/scope of work is critical
• Effectively manage supplier relations and performance process to drive the most value from supplier base; Being comfortable having challenging conversations; Lead supplier issue resolution process
• Be a driving force, inspiration, and coordinator for continuous process improvements; help identify opportunities to increase efficiency and alternative innovations that can bring value to our stakeholders
• Rationalize supply base and address tail spend consolidation opportunities: Identify needs and reduce unwanted or unneeded products, licenses, services and spend
• Is the go-to for the team on purchase orders, vendor creation, savings actual vs plan, & payment terms.
• Build strong internal relationships across multiple departments and across multiple levels (IT, HR, Finance, Operations, etc.)
• Deliver value beyond simply cost reductions (Complexity Reduction, Improve Ease of Use, Enable technology, etc)
• Interface with various members of stakeholder teams, primarily at Manager/Director level, sometimes at the VP/Senior VP level

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 5 years of Indirect Procurement Experience, must include 3+ years of IT procurement and minimum 3 years BPO related experience
• Understanding of IT suppliers/ IT contract structure/ negotiation strategies
• Passion for Procurement, technology, and digital capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong financial analysis skills to support business cases
• Ability to manage and influence business stakeholders without owning budget; From junior to senior stakeholders
• Navigating through gray area - Ability to problem solve where process may not be 100% clear
• Storytelling; balancing needs of business vs effective management of cost
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability communicate across multiple levels of layers, ability to manage conflict
• Change agent: Being able to navigate through changes internally along with driving change within categories
• Ability to present complex ideas and strategies to the business in a way that everyone can understand

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Master's Degree
• Knowledge of the procure to pay process (SAP/Ariba)
• Strong consulting skills, specifically in managing change, project management and presenting
• Knowledge of the other corporate services categories: Finance, HR, Legal, Facilities, Travel, R & D, etc
• Familiarity with outsourcing + insourcing, vendor management and service level agreements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including total cost analysis

Working Relationships

• Reports to the Procurement Director of Corporate Services and interface regularly with the VP's, Directors and other leaders in IT/Finance/HR and other areas within Indirect Procurement and the business

Travel Requirements

• Occasional travel may be required (10% or less)

The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $156,000 Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
