Position: Procurement/Purchasing Manager
Reports to: CFO
Job Overview:
The Procurement/Purchasing Manager will work directly with various departments to create vendor relationships with the goal of creating efficiencies and cost saving efforts. We are looking for a team member who is results and detail oriented.
Job Responsibilities
- Work directly with Clubs GMs and Maintenance personnel to purchase supplies and equipment
- Directly interface with vendors for purchasing, billing and warranty related issues
- Set up Vendor Programs & identify approaches to eliminate costs and improve purchasing efficiencies.
- Oversee monthly reporting of purchases across departments and ensure compliance with internal approval guidelines.
- Book certain travel expenses.
Location
- Hybrid work model with at least 3-4 days per week at Corp HQ in Orange CT
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience as Purchasing Manager for multi-unit company.
- Direct experience managing vendors/vendor relationships.
- Experience and proven success in implementing cost reduction initiatives.
- Must be highly organized and have basic excel skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work between departments.
- Optional but preferred experience.
- Direct experience handling equipment warranty issues
- Experience with Service Channel (facilities management software) or similar software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
