Job Summary:

MSEN Externals Manager will work the Tubes and Configuration Hardware Supply Chain Managers and their teams to develop supply chain plans needed to support development requirements and engineering changes for all platforms .This role will have high customer visibility and will need to have strong project management skills to ensure tactical plans are successful. This role will focus on the elements of supplier management of on-time delivery, cross functional coordination between Quality, Materials, Engineering, MCL, ESA, Strategic Sourcing, Continuous Improvement, and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute product purchasing responsibilities, including complex order placement
• working with engineering to process ZPMPMs
• Coordinating demand and scheduling planning, supplier relationship management, and delivery assurance.
• Ensure successful execution of tactical plans, drive delivery plans, and drive customer committed actions to completion.
• Responsible for tracking Critical Parts to include the identification of any part shortages by engine to ensure that the production schedule is met.
• Compliance with all aspects of the Pratt & Whitney Procurement Manual, GSC Standard Work, UTC Code of Ethics, and International Trade Compliance.
• Some travel may be required (10%)

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, or other related field and 8 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or other related field; OR an advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with drafting and submitting development orders.
• Experience in materials or supply chain management in the aerospace industry.
• Experience as a day-to-day user of SAP, entering transactions, and running reports.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
