The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy is the single State agency in Ohio responsible for administering and enforcing laws governing the practice of pharmacy and the legal distribution of drugs. The Board consists of nine members who are appointed by the Governor for terms of four years. Eight of the members are licensed pharmacists who represent, to the extent practicable, each phase of pharmacy practice. One member represents the public. The Board has a staff of 90 employees that is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations and responsibilities of the Board.

Hybrid Telework:
The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy supports a hybrid teleworking model. This position may work a hybrid schedule at the discretion of the manager or supervisor, which will require occasional attendance in the office for training, meetings and other operational needs. Employees must complete a telework authorization form and reside at a location that allows for reasonable response time to workplace reporting requirements

Job Overview
The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy (SOBP) is looking for an experienced Financial Program Manager - Procurement Manager to manage and coordinate the agency's fiscal processes and sourcing program (e.g. MBE/EDGE, Asset Management, Contract Management).
Job duties include:
- Directing agency procurement policies, processes, and procedures
- Developing program plans and performance measures for fair public contracting (MBE/EDGE)
- Developing formal solicitation documents (RFPs, ITBs, RFQs, RFIs & RTPs)
- Preparing, reviewing, and recommending Controlling Board, Release & Permit, waiver requests
- Directing and manages agency’s transition and implementation to OhioBuys
- Developing, executing, and administering agency contracts
- Monitoring supplier threshold limits and coordinate with fiscal staff
- Authorizing requisitions purchase orders
- Assisting in budget preparation, revenue projections, and forecasting activities
- Overseeing Accounts Payable and Account Receivable transactions
- Monitoring fiscal reporting processes
- Developing, implementing and/or reviewing fiscal policy
- Oversee asset management policies and activities
- Coordinating special projects (e.g., agency fiscal audits, county court revenue collection enhancement, reconciliation, etc.)
- Developing and coordinating communication regarding SOBP fiscal programs
- Representing the fiscal department in internal and external meetings
- Providing excellent internal and external customer service
This position will support fiscal staff, maintain a great working relationship with our internal staff and external stakeholders and the SOBP mission.
This position is overtime exempt.
Unless required by legislation or union contract, the candidate selected for this position can be expected to be paid at the lowest step in the salary range (step 1).
