Responsibilities:
- Analyze raw material inventory levels based on production demand to determine inventory requirements.
- Review and adjust inventory PAR levels accurately.
- Conduct daily physical inventory checks and process orders accordingly.
- Coordinate purchase orders and verify with the Receiving team for completion.
- Initiate and follow up with vendors on returns or damages.
- Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
- Submit purchase orders to approved vendors in accordance with inventory requirements.
- Ensure receipt of all submitted orders by vendors and report any inaccuracies to management.
- Monitor past due purchase orders and backorders.
- Assist Accounts Payable in resolving invoice issues, including interaction with requesters, vendors, and AP processors.
- Update sales and purchase orders with current estimated time of arrival (ETAs) as required.
- Reconcile receiving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with suppliers to forecast and commit volume for full truckload (FTL) or special purchases.
- Regularly review commodity item pricing to maintain competitiveness while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of purchasing experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience with online shopping platforms.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications.
