Overview
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Agent to join our team at our facility in Portland, OR, 97210. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing and procurement, supplier negotiation, and working with ERP software in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize ERP software to manage procurement processes
- Source suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Source raw materials such as woods, plastics, metals, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand product requirements
- Produce Material Take Offs (MTO) from blueprints to order appropriate quantities of materials.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams
- Coordinate with production and project managment to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
Qualifications
- Experience working with ERP software
- Proven sourcing and procurement experience
- Demonstrated supplier negotiation skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
