Under direct supervision, learns to process all types of incoming insurance mail, ( i.e., processing discount forms, driver change requests, cancellations, etc.), Dealer Desk, and provides Five Diamond Service during all transactions.
What you will do:
- Process incoming mail, email, and faxes (i.e., discounts, driver change requests, cancelations, mortgagee requests including providing evidence of insurance, etc.).
- Answer insureds’ calls regarding claims, payments, and change of address.
- Upload policy revisions via policy portals.
- Coordinate Dealer Desk functions, including exchanging information with insureds, car dealers, banks, etc. to facilitate vehicle changes.
- Build professional relationships with coworkers, agents and industry contacts.
- Process incoming checks, including uploading payment information via payment portals.
- Apply effective date of discount and ensure proper documentation is received.
- Correct errors on returned mail in a timely and effective manner.
- Send correspondence to insureds
- Crosstrain in other Agency Support functions; backup to other teams as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
High School diploma or GED required
Experience:
1+ years Clerical experience in the Insurance industry required
1-3 years Customer service experience preferred
