Primary Purpose:
- Perform as a team leader for the department and responsible for ensuring production standards are met and exceeded under direct supervision.
Essential Functions:
- Complete all required documentation based on procedures and work instructions to meet requirements
- Process monitoring and set up of master processes
- Support direct and indirect labor training, cross training and continuous improvement
- Maintain a work environment that reduces employee turnover and increases employee tenure
- Monitor work cell and manufacturing efficiency to ensure program and part planned goals are met
- Manage internal scrap reduction through effective trouble shooting methods (8D, Design of Experiment, etc.)
- Coordinate glue change over with breaks to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Perform duties as instructed by your supervisor
- Assist in the development of plant layout in accordance with lean manufacturing principles
- Monitor all SPC on equipment and machinery
- Fill in for absent supervision
Qualifications:
- Must have minimum 3 years Process Technician experience in Plastic Injection molding
- Excellent organizational, communication, computer and math skills
- Ability to positively and proactively communicate with employees at all organizational levels
- Working knowledge of measurement tools, and troubleshooting equipment
- Working knowledge of robot programming
- Knowledge of Lock out /Tag out procedures

- Standing, lifting, bending, kneeling, twisting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
